Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) aims to ensure the availability of services and functions that are critical for survival. | ||
These include energy, communications, transport and medical care. Critical infrastructures are not only buildings and facilities, but also supply systems and services in the broadest sense. Serious failures, such as a nationwide power cut, can cause severe economic damage and place a massive burden or even endanger the population. The protection of critical infrastructures comprises structural, technical, organisational or legal measures aimed at preventing such failures where possible or, in the event of an incident, at rapidly restoring their functionality. | ![]() |

Rhein-Tec GmbH's armoured facilities, in combination with Rhein-Tec GmbH's robust and shock-resistant infrastructure, provide a reliably protected critical infrastructure. For the protection of ict infrastructures, rhein-tec gmbh developed special 19" infrastructure racks based on the ISPR (International Standard Payload Rack), which is also used on the International Space Station. These special racks protect sensitive infrastructure from vibrations and strong accelerations such as those caused by earthquakes or the detonation of terrorist attacks. for this purpose, active and passive vibration dampers are used, the racks are additionally uncoupled from the shelter by a special locking system In order to guarantee quality and security, production is carried out exclusively in Germany and the Netherlands. |
